“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

I’ve lost my strength, l’ve lost my fittness and I’ve lost my drive. I could only grind out three rounds with 30kg thrusters and I just could not go on. I attempted another two rounds but just couldn’t complete them. This is not good.
You needed to come to class yesterday to get that lovin’ feeling back Tim. Just jokes. To tell the truth I’m not particularly looking forward to 100 thrusters and 100 burpees myself………….Keep your chin up mate.
Hang in there guys! I’m no expert, but Just scale it down if you think you might struggle on any given day. That is what I love about CrossFit. You still work to your maximum intensity, at that point in time. Hope you recover ok Tim, thanks for your words of encouragement Rob – Go Team CFP!
Lee has hit the nail on the head! Scaling is an important part of CrossFit, so is knowing when to rest. Mainsite follows a four one one off, three on one off schedule. I don’t program like that because of my limitations running classes. I personally am adapting the mainsite schedule to my own training in an effort to improve my progress. Hang in there guys, listen to your bodies and eat well!
After this mornings pathetic effort,I just could not leave it alone. I brought dishonour to the spirit of crossfit. So I had a can of harden the F#^k up bakebeans for lunch and set out on a 5km run to redeem myself. It gave me time to wressel my “wimp demons” and shut them down. Time 30.14. Thanks for the insight guys.
Cheating & lying to yourself and us would be dishonouring the spirit of Crossfit. Being truthful with yourself and us, hardening the f#^k up bakebeans and goin on a 5km run when you’re down is awesome. Well done Tim!
Todays WOD 21.31 with 20kg thrusters.
As for you Adrian, after yesterdays bottom to bottom tabata squats and now thrusters and burpees today, I’m referring the matter to the UN as a violation of Article 16 of the Convention Against Torture.

Thanks Rob. Much appreciated! 21.31 Huge effort! Wouldn’t expect anything less from anyone so intimate with Pukey. I will be back on the wagon tomorrow.
Adrian 18.10 (20kg Thrusters)
Lee 15.07 (3kg med ball thrusters and 5 Burpees)
For someone who had never done Burpees before, Lee cranked out a quick fire 50, and smoked us all on the thrusters.
Still waiting for my summons to the UN to answer for my crimes
