Fitness in 100 words
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

AMRAP 30 mins. Wow, this’ll be a tough one. Can you think of three more diverse exercises to do?
After doing this WOD I may never schedule another soldier workout with a name starting with “M”. So far both Murph and McGhee go down in folklore as the most intense workouts I have attempted. Great effort from the team today. Everyone gave it all they had (and then some). Rob (our resident spewer) had to excuse himself at least once, but kept on working through it!….enough rambling, the scores are in:
4pm
Tim 9 rounds + DL + PU (100kgDL, 24″BJ)
Rob 12 rounds + DL + PU (105kg + 20″BJ)
Mark T 10 rounds + DL + PU (85kg, 20″BJ)
Robbie K Unable to remember………. (60kg + Squats)
Ade 13 rounds + DL + PU Rxd
I think I need counselling after that one.
OMFG – I’m crippled. Seriously, great workout. Loved it, loved it, loved it!
Pukey the Clown and I are becoming good mates.
Rob, I’m concerned about your relationship with pukey. It seems co- dependant.
