Fitness in 100 words
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ”

What a glorious day for a run. I didn’t set out today to break any PB’s. I just jugged along with Terese for the first 2.5km’s: to help her find her rhythm.
Terese 21.15 talked myself out of 5klm b4i started, what an absolutely beautiful day for a run.
Adrian 10km 52.59
Mark R 10km 53.24
Ricky B 5km 26min
Was a great morning for a run, we had the pleasure of running in the “Salt” fun run series down near Kingscliffe.
