MMA – Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts is a melting pot of techniques that grows and changes over time. The MMA of today has evolved considerably from what created such a stir many years ago. Today’s mixed martial artist needs to be as comfortable on the ground as when striking. A solid stand up wrestling game is important , as is developing an effective arsenal of takedowns and submissions.
Coach Adrian has spent over twelve years in the MMA game, he fought on the very first MMA show (Spartan 1) on the Gold Coast, and has been in the “corner” for over 100 MMA fights looking after many local and international fighters. He has tested himself in many arenas including boxing, submission wrestling and BJJ competitions. He has a commitment to teaching technical and effective techniques in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
MMA classes are a great way to learn technique, to get fit and have fun. They are open to both males and females and you don’t have to want to be a “fighter” to participate.
Class times:
- Tuesday: 6.30 – 7.30pm
- Thursday: 6.30 – 7.30pm
Cost
Your progression and safety in BJJ, CrossFit and MMA are all dependent on your coach. You aren’t paying for expensive equipment or gimmicks, you are paying for knowledge, expertise and close attention. You can start your BJJ, MMA or CrossFit journey for as little as $27.50 per week.
